NED NELSON

Ned Nelson is a 2015 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration. During his time at Southern Miss, Ned was heavily involved in student life and was a member of Greek life, the Interfraternity Council, the College of Business Dean’s Leadership Council, and the Student Government Association Judicial Board. Ned graduated with honors from Ole Miss law school in 2018. In law school, Ned was a member of the Transactional Law clinic and was on the executive council of the Business Law Network.

Since joining Nelson Law, Ned has been admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi and has represented clients in a wide range of legal matters. Ned has successfully litigated cases before every trial Court of the Mississippi and Federal Judiciary, including appellate cases before the Mississippi Court of Appeals, the Mississippi Supreme Court, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to litigation, Ned also maintains an active transactional and business law practice. From forming limited liability companies and non-profits to negotiating buy-outs and corporate mergers, Ned has handled a wide range of business law matters.

Ned lives in Sumrall, MS with his wife Sami and their daughter, Ellie Grace. Ned and Sami are active members of the Church at 4points, lifetime members of the Southern Miss Alumni Association, and the Eagle Club.
